I'm an architect based in Duhok and the founder of ANKIDA, a studio that designs for the way we actually live in Kurdistan — hot summers, cold mountain winters, family courtyards, and hospitality at the centre of the plan. I work across residential, interior and visualisation, from first sketch to a set your contractor can build from. I believe good architecture here should grow from the place, not be imported to it.
